Polished Pencil Skirt

24 September 2012

Polished, prim and snug – that’s exactly how I feel when I slip into a pencil skirt.  A little Pretty Woman, a little Power Broker, but either way, I’m getting the job done.

The pencil skirt has been considered a wardrobe staple for eons, but lately, this little number has gotten bolder coloring far beyond the black lines.

This Fall, we’re skipping the matching jacket and pairing leather, baroque and herringbone pencil skirts with graphic tees, mixed prints + stripes.

Feel free to forgo the statement necklace and let your feet adorn some hardware for a change.

skirt in the middle is safe, but twirk-able.

see what these ladies did here with the black skirt?

what would jesus wear? this.

trio of skirts: Emma Cook, James Perse Jersey Pencil, true, it’s black – but pretty sure you can live in this thing. The jam of the bunch: Just Cavalli want more? this could be yours: longer version.

outfit that Jesus and/or Jessica would wear: Cynthia Rowley Leather Pull right over your head.  Dolce & Gabbana Floral Skirt, flowers so pretty I wish they were by my beside! Those cabbage roses, beautiful – and I don’t even like roses. Topped off with a pair of these puppies: Valentino Studded Stilettos.  However since these are sold out everywhere, I own these and am quite happy.

now, get to work.
